The postgraduate (Master’s) program in Clinical Pharmacy aims to:
* Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to clinical pharmacy in relevant roles, such as developing therapeutic plans to provide pharmaceutical care for patients in hospitals, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance departments.
* Pursue advanced research at the doctoral level in Clinical Pharmacy, as the program provides students with a solid foundation in research work.
The graduate should be competent and capable, both academically and professionally, to:
⦁ Uses knowledge, skills, and professional values to provide safe and high-quality service to the community.
⦁ Possesses a deep understanding of the scientific principles of research and the ability to practice it.

Welcome to the Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy
The Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University (LIMU) is a pioneering program, being the only one within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the university, and across Libya. The program is renowned for its outstanding contributions to clinical pharmacy education and research.
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the Libyan International Medical University offers a two-year, full-time Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy at its campus in Benghazi. The program focuses on developing students’ problem-solving skills, enabling them to become leaders in the pharmacy sector.
Among the program’s key features are its innovative curriculum, student-centered learning approach, and extensive practical experiences in pharmaceutical practice. By integrating science and practice, the program includes both theoretical courses and hands-on experiential learning. Students are also required to complete carefully designed research projects, culminating in a Master’s thesis that is publicly defended before internal and external examiners.
By the end of the first academic year, all students are awarded Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy provided they have successfully passed all courses. This also serves as an exit point for students who wish to withdraw from the program for any reason.
The program aims to be a recognized center of excellence in clinical pharmacy education by providing innovative pharmaceutical education, scientific research, and pharmacy practice for the purpose of serving the community.
Providing a distinguished Doctor of Pharmacy who possesses the clinical skills, communication skills, and professional ethics that enable him to meet the needs of the labor market and provide pharmaceutical care that contributes to developing the level of healthcare provided to the community.
To provide and empower pharmacists with the knowledge and skills relevant to clinical pharmacy so that they are able to develop treatment plans to obtain the best pharmaceutical care for patients in the community.
Demonstrate critical thinking and evaluation of all sciences and develop their organizational and planning abilities.
To help pharmacists pursue research at higher levels in the PhD in Clinical Pharmacy and to encourage them to develop themselves.
Improve communication skills and scientific writing skills.
