About the prgram

  The Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences) is the first of its kind in Libya. It is implemented using modern educational and research methods that contribute to enhancing the level of pharmaceutical education at the postgraduate level and advancing scientific research to improve healthcare in Libya.

The program awards a Master’s degree (MSc) in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The postgraduate (Master’s) program in Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to pharmaceutical sciences in relevant fields such as the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, biotech marketing companies, chemical and biochemical industries, and quality assurance departments.
2. Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to evaluate all scientific disciplines, and develop their skills in organizing and planning experiments systematically.
3. Pursue advanced research at the doctoral level in any branch of pharmaceutical sciences, as the program provides students with a solid foundation in research work.
4. Enhance communication skills and scientific writing abilities.

MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences

Duration of study: Two academic years
Language of study : English
The program consists of four semesters, and the total credit hours required to complete the program are 120 ECTS.
The program includes general courses, specialized courses, and a thesis, with the proposal discussed in the third semester and completed in the fourth semester.
The thesis can be conducted in the following specializations:
Medicinal Chemistry
Pharmaceutical Analysis
Pharmacology
All disciplines of Pharmaceutics

The program consists of four semesters, and the total credit hours required to complete the program are 120 ECTS.
